Event marketing is a tough game, so making an impression and cutting through the competition to stand out is essential. Outdoor advertising, when used as part of a wider marketing campaign, really captures people's attention, builds excitement, and ultimately drives ticket sales.


Working alongside Louder UK, we helped them create a buzz around their Torquay event, Electric Bay. Having secured a huge headliner, Fatboy Slim, they wanted to use his strong artist branding and tease the announcement, to drive pre-sale ticket sign up's in advance of tickets going on sale.


A teaser campaign is a tried and tested method for building momentum around an event, and an opportunity to get really creative. 


We got involved using a number of our billboards and street poster sites across Torbay and South Devon with a simple message “Fatboy Slim Loves Torquay - July 2025' and directing people to a website to sign up for more information. This was supported by indoor posters distributed to local cafes, coffee shops, takeaways and shops across South Devon. Local press picked up on the story, running various editorial in print and online to amplify the teaser campaign. This was followed up a few days later with a number of short teaser films released across social media platforms, and we provided a number of printed accessories for this including mugs, window clings, stickers and huge beach balls amongst other things.
