We are looking for people to join our growing distribution team, delivering promotional material door to door throughout Bristol. You will be working as part of a small team, met at the beginning of each day and given your stock and area of coverage (inc maps) for that day. This work suits people looking to get into promotions, door to door and canvassing. Or looking for some outdoor summer work across Bristol and keep active at the same time!

  • Good rates of pay, based on per 1,000 flyers
  • Working up to five days a week, Monday - Friday

  • Must be happy travelling around different areas in Bristol
  • All our team members carry a GPS tracking device (provided by us) whilst working - this accurately tracks each delivery right to the letterbox

Street Team Distribution Supervisor

Based on 42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday 9.30 - 6.00 pm
With occasional evening and weekend work paid at increased over time rates.
Annual Salary £20,995 to £22,625 dependent on experience
Full UK driving licence is essential.

The main task will be to supervise all street team door-to-door leaflet distribution, manage teams of leaflet distributors and undertake door to door distribution activity. The role involves driving and managing groups of people in different locations in Bristol and the surrounding area.

Working closely with the Commercial Director to ensure the distribution services (both core and special one-off projects) operated by Out of Hand are undertaken in an efficient and correct manner. Including all client interactions, staff organisation and supervision, the control of all map creation and routes undertaken.

Excellent organisational skills and competent PC skills are required for running the Digital mapping and GPS tracking software, administrational tasks and customer service duties. A full UK driving licence and being fit and able to work outside in all seasons is also essential.


  • Supervise all door-to-door staff, ensuring all work set is completed as required and within agreed timescales, to include the delivery and top of flyers to door to door staff.
  • Completing and sending regular distribution schedules and associated maps for client reporting.
  • Tracking of all distribution sales undertaken and the creation of client reports.
  • Receiving and processing distribution and other company orders, ensuring all required details are given and proforma payments arranged where necessary
  • Booking of all distribution staff including compiling rotas for regular and one-off work to ensure all agreed distribution is completed to the highest standards and with minimum costs.
  • Complete staff wage assessments from time sheets and pass to accounts team after sign off from the Commercial Director.
  • Assist with recruitment, employment, induction, training and monitoring of all door to door distribution related staff.
  • Undertake distribution shifts in person where necessary, and monitor shifts carried out by other staff.
  • Assisting the Commercial Director with dealing with external distribution companies for all third party work ordered through Out of Hand, ensuring correct prices are agreed, purchase orders are sent and work is carried out as required.
  • Packing room and flyer storage area maintenance and tidiness, arrange recycling and ensure room abides to H&S requirements. Undertake stock takes when required.
  • Working closely with the sales, production and accounts departments and always complying fully with all company procedures and health and safety legislation.
  • Any other reasonable task required to ensure the success of Out of Hand.

Campaign Co-ordinator

Full time position
£20,995 to £23,205 depending upon experience, plus benefits
20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
42.5 hours (Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm, but may adjust depending on season)

Based within our main office in Bristol, this role is responsible for pre in-charge and post in-charge campaign management, managing the process from after the sale has been made through to the campaign being posted. Collaborating closely with the Sales and Production departments to ensure that our posting team are working in the most efficient way.

To act as the communication link for all in-charges and to ensure information - posting instructions and design instructions are accurate and the process runs efficiently from beginning to end. To maintain information flow during short-term selling periods.


  • Act as bridge between External Operations and Sales
  • Carry out Ad Copy approval checks in line with Out of Hand and/or Partner policies to ensure the live estate complies with all current regulations
  • Ensure posting is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Running posting reports to monitor progress of each campaign
  • Address areas demonstrating inefficiencies in a timely fashion
  • To maintain good internal liaison with the Operations, Finance, Development and Sales teams as well as the Outdoor team
  • To prepare regular reports detailing occupancy rates and rates per board
  • Artwork and payment chasing
  • Compile proof of posting reports and issue to clients
  • Ensuring the allocation documents are kept up to date
  • Liaising with Outdoor team to ensure dispatch, deliveries and posting of posters
  • Assist with Error Reports to reduce claims and credits
  • Thoroughly checking and approving invoices (the cost, panel numbers)
  • Liaising with clients with reference to Design specifications and templates etc
  • Understanding and maintaining great relationships with our Specialists and Clients

Outdoor Maintenance and Poster Installation Operative

Full time position
£20,995 to £25,000 depending upon experience, plus benefits
20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
42.5 hours (Monday to Friday 9.30am to 6pm, but may adjust depending on season)

We have a huge amount of street level, outdoor poster sites that are built and maintained by us, mostly of timber construction. We change the adverts on a fortnightly basis and the poster sites need regular maintenance to keep them looking tidy.

Working in a small team, you will be hard working, conscientious, reliable, methodical, have attention to detail and be willing to get stuck in with making sure our poster sites reflect the company well out on the street. You will also get involved in the fortnightly billposting and general distribution of promotional material across our network of outlets throughout the South West and Wales. You will be organised, a good driver, comfortable working at ladder height, handy with a paint brush as a decorator, flexible as the role is varied and happy to work both solo and as part of a team.


  • Assist with the management of our outdoor poster network across Bristol, Bath and South Wales, including organisation of weekly / fortnightly poster changeovers, client reporting and site maintenance.
  • Regular repair and painting of billboards as well as maintenance of surrounding sites
  • Day-to-day minor repair and cleaning of billboards, including damage and graffiti
  • Be part of the team to build new poster frames and poster sites on hoardings.
  • Ensure proof of posting / placement for all distributed materials and complete client reports in a timely fashion.
  • Undertake delivery / multi drop work as and when required - this is required to provide support to other areas of our business.


  • Liaise with other staff to ensure the smooth running of each department and company as a whole
  • Positively promote Out of Hand services to all outside parties
  • Health and safety outdoor posting standards test will have to be taken annually to ensure we are compliant with current standards.
  • Ability to record work carried out, including photos cataloguing and using our inhouse proof of posting apps and internal MIS systems.
  • Participate in the generation of ideas to the benefit of Out of Hand
  • Any other reasonable task required to ensure the success of Out of Hand
