Many of you may know, we work closely with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe every summer but things are in full swing all year round at our sister company, Out of Hand Scotland. As Edinburgh shakes off winter and leans into its world-famous events season, our team has been busy supporting an exciting mix of cultural, community, and commercial projects, both on the streets and in the studio.

From the grassroots to the grand scale, we're proud to be working with some standout names. Recent campaigns have included:

• Tomatin Whisky Distillery, where we helped bring their Highland heritage to life through print.

• Portobello Festival, a vibrant local celebration with a strong community focus.

• Hidden Door Festival, an arts-led event breathing new life into forgotten spaces across Edinburgh. 

Looking ahead, things are about to get even busier. The team is deep in prep mode for two of their biggest campaigns of the year, The Royal Highland Show and Edinburgh Zoo. Both projects kick off in earnest next month and promise to be high-impact, high-visibility campaigns.

Our door-to-door distribution service continues to be a key part of how we connect people and places. Lately, we've been out across the region delivering community updates for local political parties, as well as spreading the word about the Tartan Parade and a host of local arts festivals.

This kind of targeted, localised distribution remains one of the most trusted ways to engage communities, and our team are on the ground making it happen.

In the office, things are just as exciting. The team have welcomed a new addition to the studio, the HP Latex 360, a large format print machine that seriously expands what we can offer.

It means our Edinburgh office can now produce high-quality, fast-turnaround large format work with the same ‘on demand' flexibility and care that our clients already trust us with for small format printing.

With festival season ramping up, community projects ongoing, and our print capabilities growing stronger than ever, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for our Edinburgh office.
