After a whirlwind couple of months, our Fringe team are finally hanging up their hi-vis’ (or bundling them in the wash). Rather than bore you with the nitty gritty, we thought we’d keep it brief with some lovely statistics and then let the pictures do the talking…
Design
Our design team spent hundreds of hours working closely with an array of hugely talented Fringe performers to design the posters, flyers and digital assets for each show. This included our ten 2026 bursary winners, each of whom received a bespoke marketing package to suit their individual needs. The design process for shows like ‘Oops’ (pictured here), included working with a range of techniques and materials, including a 3D logo and an innovative marketing concept that broke the fourth wall.
Posters
Edinburgh’s population was boosted by approximately one million visitors during August, hundreds of thousands of people saw our posters or picked up a flyer from over 250 outlets across the city. It’s no wonder over 2.8 million show tickets were sold this year.
Street Distribution
Our street team spent more than 1,000 hours handing out marketing materials to people in popular Fringe areas. They weren’t just handing out your typical flyers, but had an array of goodies, including stickers, fans and holographic tote bag
Indoor Distribution
Our super popular indoor framed sites sold out in record time whilst our indoor flyer racks saw 85,100 flyers pass through them during the festival.
247 Fringe
We distributed 10,000 copies per week of our free dedicated 247 Fringe magazine throughout the festival - that’s 90,000 readers!
Flyers & Print Packages
We printed and delivered over 1.5 million units of print- that’s over 2000 boxes! To say we’re feeling jacked after the summer would be an understatement.
Year-Round Poster Sites
We don’t want to boast or anything, but…did you know we have the largest network of year-round poster sites in Edinburgh? Fringe even took over those, too- with clients nabbing early slots to spread the buzz to locals before the festival even started.
So until next year when the Fringe madness starts again!
