Out of Hand recognises that in our day-to-day operations we impact on the environment. We are therefore committed to reducing this level of impact wherever possible embracing the principles of sustainable development.
As part of our environmental commitment, once this years Fringe has finished, we will be recycling all the printed correx boards which will be reprocessed into a range of new product applications for the packaging and construction markets.
Where suitable, advertising structures will be dismantled and stored ready for use again in future years. We work hard to minimise the impact of the scheme on the environment. As part of this, we print all your artwork directly onto correx / banner or vinyl material. Once the Fringe has finished, we remove and recycle all the different formats printed on correx which are sent to be reprocessed into a range of new product applications for the packaging and construction markets. All banners are printed on non PVC material and will be recycled at the end of the Fringe too.
Within the indoor poster and flyer distribution service offered by Out of Hand Scotland, they collect and recycle any leftover promotional material in the branded stands and remove out of date posters in outlets they have display agreements with.
