Zone 1

Focuses on the popular Southside area of Edinburgh, and includes key venues such as the Assembly Roxy, Pleasance Courtyard, Summerhall, Zoo Venues, various theSpaceUK and Laughing Horse Free Fringe venues amongst many others. Within this zone, we have over 15 sites for street level 4 sheets (inc 8 & 12 sheets too) and 12 sites for railing board formats and all lamp post products are placed on the numerous streets through the area, with a focus on the main roads and connecting roads between the various venues.

Zone 2

A large zone covering the Meadows, George Square, Castle Terrace, Lothian Road and the west side of the city centre. Key venues include the EICC, Circus Hub on the Meadows, Festival Square, Traverse Theatre, Assembly Festival and Underbelly on George Square and a lot of visitors and participants alike stay in the Bruntsfield / Marchmont area too. Middle Meadow Walk is especially popular, with over 20 railing board sites within this zone and a large number of lamp post products too.

Zone 3

Covering the hugely popular Bristo Square within the University campus, this zone includes big venues such as Underbelly McEwan Hall and Pleasance Dome. This zone includes the top half of Cowgate, taking in venues such as the Three Sisters Free Fringe alongside numerous other Cowgate venues. It extends to the Grassmarket, and most of the New Town, so the majority of venues in that part of the city are included in this zone, including Dance Base, Assembly Hall (at the top of the Mound), the Assembly Rooms and Greenside on George St. The main train station, Waverley Station is within this zone, as well as various tram stops connecting to the airport, making this the key zone to reach visitors as they first arrive in Edinburgh.

Zone 4

One of the smaller zones covering the bottom half of Cowgate, some of the old town, inc the Royal Mile and extending to the east end of the New Town. Venues such as Just the Tonic at The Caves, Gilded Balloon Patter Hoose, theSpaceUK and The Stand, as well as a large number of Free Fringe venues are within this popular zone. The High St on the Royal Mile is home to the Fringe Society and hosts a wide range of daily free fringe events, resulting in a very high footfall. With a limited number of sites for both 4 sheets and railing board products, this zone quickly sells out, as demand always exceeds supply!
